\n Class 9 is a catch-all category for dangerous goods that don't fit neatly into classes 1 through 8. The most frequently shipped Class 9 goods in general freight are environmentally hazardous substances - liquids and solids that present a hazard to the aquatic environment - followed by safety devices such as airbags and seatbelt pretensioners, and magnetised materials.
