What ADR classes do you transport under Class 4?
We transport all three Class 4 sub-classes - 4.1 flammable solids, 4.2 spontaneously combustible substances, and 4.3 substances dangerous when wet.
More information
Each sub-class carries distinct handling, placarding, and documentation requirements. Class 4.1 covers goods that ignite through friction or heat. Class 4.2 includes pyrophoric and self-heating substances that can ignite on contact with air. Class 4.3 covers substances that react with moisture to produce flammable or toxic gases. We handle all three on full truckload tautliner trailers across Western Europe.
Do you carry Class 4 goods in bulk or packaged form?
Packaged goods only - drums, IBCs, and jerricans on full truckload tautliner trailers. We do not operate tankers or bulk tipping trailers.
More information
Our fleet consists entirely of curtainsider and tautliner trailers suited for palletised and packaged cargo. This covers the vast majority of Class 4 shipments moving through Western Europe. If your cargo requires a tanker or bulk vehicle, we would not be the right carrier for that specific load.
Which countries do you cover for Class 4 shipments?
Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, and Czechia
More information
Our network covers eight Western and Central European countries on circular routes that give us consistent capacity in both directions. This means we can offer reliable outbound and return coverage on most lanes - not just one-way capacity. If your route connects two or more of these countries, we very likely have regular departures that fit your schedule.

Flammable solids - class 4.1

Matches, metal powders, self-reactive substances – Class 4.1 covers a wide range of goods that can ignite through friction, heat, or contact with other substances. Vehicles must be placarded correctly, drivers must hold full ADR certificates, and documentation must specify self-reactive properties where applicable.

Score Logistics handles Class 4.1 shipments weekly across Western Europe. All drivers are fully ADR-certified.

Spontaneously combustible - class 4.2

Class 4.2 goods present a unique challenge – they do not need an external ignition source. Pyrophoric substances ignite on contact with air within minutes. Self-heating substances can build heat gradually during transit until combustion occurs. Both require careful attention at every stage of the journey, from loading sequence to parking location.

All Class 4.2 shipments are handled under standard ADR protocols for spontaneously combustible substances. This includes strict requirements on vehicle supervision, overnight parking procedures, and load segregation from incompatible goods. Nothing is left to chance.

Score Logistics runs Class 4.2 shipments across Western Europe. All drivers are fully ADR-certified and operationally familiar with spontaneously combustible cargo.

Substances dangerous when wet - class 4.3

Sodium, calcium carbide, lithium – Class 4.3 goods react with water to produce flammable or toxic gases. Unlike most hazardous categories where the primary risk is managed through vehicle equipment and driver training, with Class 4.3 the packaging itself is the first line of defence.

We transport Class 4.3 goods on full truckload tautliner trailers across Western Europe. All cargo ships in hermetically sealed, waterproof packaging – this is assessed at the point of booking and verified at loading. Drivers hold full ADR certificates and carry the required emergency equipment on every run.

Score Logistics handles Class 4.3 shipments weekly across Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria and Czechia.

ADR transport you can plan around

85 trucks, all ours, all ADR-certified. One contract, one liable party, full chain of custody from loading to delivery.

Cargo compatibility is assessed on a per-shipment basis. Where regulations and segregation rules allow, Class 4 goods can travel alongside compatible cargo in the same tautliner — giving shippers with mixed loads more flexibility without compromising compliance.

Clients shipping more than 5 loads per month qualify for Inner Circle conditions — priority capacity, a dedicated point of contact, and rates that reflect the volume relationship.
