ADR-certified flammable gas transport across Western Europe
Propane, butane, acetylene, hydrogen – flammable gas transport is one of the most regulated categories in ADR. Documentation must be exact. Vehicles must carry mandatory safety equipment. Every driver must hold a valid ADR certificate.
According to ADR rules, gases classify as flammable when at 20°C and 101.3 kPa they meet at least one of the following:
- Ignitable in a mixture of 13% or less by volume with air.
- Flammable range with air of at least 12 percentage points regardless of the lower limit.
